"Piperea & Asociatii" takes its social role very seriously, and carries on an intense pro bono activity. Because we care and we are concerned with the evolution of the society we live in, we brought our experience, knowledge and efforts into its service.
As part of our pro bono activities, we represented in court Parohia Stavropoleos - Biserica Sfintii Arhangheli Mihail si Gavril, against The Romanian National Museum of Art (Muzeul National de Arta al Romaniei).
Likewise, the attorney Gheorghe Piperea brought a significant contribution to the Romanian legal system evolution and improvement, drawing up normative bills, among which there are to be mentioned: the bill regarding the systematization of the insolvency practitioner profession, the insolvency Law, the preventive concordat Law, the mediation legislation - he elaborated the section regarding mediation within the Statute of an attorney profession. Moreover, Gheorghe Piperea brought his contribution as an author or co-author to many other bills: the 2004 Statute of an attorney profession, the bill modifying the Commercial Companies Law.
The establishment of "Bucharest Mediation and Arbitration Center" Association, afiliated to the Bucharest Bar Association, represents another pro bono activity of Mr.Gheorghe Piperea.Regarding the health legislation area, Gheorghe Piperea is one of the authors of the first medicine bill and of the modifications the Health Insurance Law, as proposed by National Liberal Party in 1998.
